NOW HIRING – Fixed Plant Fitters | Port Operations
Calibre Resourcing Solutions is seeking Fixed Plant Fitters to join our client’s port operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established operation, maintaining and repairing critical fixed plant equipment used for port and bulk handling activities.
About the Role:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on port fixed plant equipment
- Work on conveyors, crushers, pumps, and other handling machinery
- Ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime for port operations
- Shift work dependent on ship schedules – rosters provided 1–2 weeks in advance
- Minimum of 40 hours per week (hours may vary with ship movements)
Pre-employment requirements include:
- Medical, blood lead test, drug & alcohol screening, and physical assessment
- On-site walk-through prior to acceptance
Requirements:
- Trade-qualified Fitter with proven fixed plant maintenance experience
- Experience with conveyor systems, pumps, or bulk handling machinery
- HRWL - Forklift/EWP, Working at Heights Certificates Highly regarded
- Must be clean-shaven or able to seal a mask properly if facial hair is present
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
- Non-smoker preferred
