Port Operators – Townsville | Ongoing Casual Opportunities


Calibre Resourcing Solutions is seeking 5–6 skilled Operators to join our client’s busy port operations team in Townsville. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of essential logistics and shipping activities, working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.


About the Role:

  • Operate loaders as a minimum requirement (forklift and skid steer tickets advantageous)
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and material handling at port facilities
  • Work is shift-based and depends on ship schedules (rosters usually advised 1–2 weeks in advance)
  • Minimum 40 hours per week offered where possible

Requirements:

  • Must have a Loader ticket and proven experience
  • Forklift and skid steer experience desirable (training available if not held)
  • Must pass a site walk-through prior to acceptance
  • Clean-shaven or facial hair that allows a proper respirator seal (moustache/goatee acceptable if mask seals)
  • Non-smokers preferred

Ability to pass:

  • Pre-employment medical
  • Drug & alcohol screening
  • Blood lead test
  • Physical assessment
