Project Start Date: Approx. 25th August 2025

Location: Portland Road, Cape York (near Lockhart River)

Branch: Townsville

Calibre Resourcing Solutions is currently recruiting for an exciting roadworks and civil maintenance project in Cape York. This opportunity includes two 21-day swings with a 7–10 day break between rotations. We are seeking reliable, hard-working candidates ready to contribute to a diverse and supportive work environment.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Roller Operator / Labourer

• Must hold an RII ticket for Roller with experience batter/shoulder rolling a bonus
• Primary duties will be labouring
• Entry-level role – ideal for candidates looking to build experience

Roller Operator / Truck Driver / Labourer

HR licence required (HC highly preferred)

Candidates with experience in:

• Grader
• Positrack
• Excavator
• Side tipper operation
• Concrete work, pothole repair, rock pitching

Non-smoking candidates preferred

Applicants with caravans/campers welcome, but not essential

PROJECT SCOPE INCLUDES:

• Pothole repairs and road maintenance
• Rock pitching and concrete placement
• Road seal removal and reinstatement
• Heavy shoulder grading and table drain reshaping

PROJECT DETAILS

Roster: 2 x 21-day swings with 7–10 days break in between

Duration: Short-term with potential for future work

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant RII tickets/licences as listed above
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork
• Previous experience in civil construction preferred (but not essential for roller/labourer role)
