Now Hiring: Blaster & Coatings Applicator – Townsville Based


Location: Townsville


Calibre Resourcing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Blaster & Coatings Applicator to join one of our industry-leading clients in a hands-on, workshop-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grit, garnet, and sponge blasting on components
  • Apply Belzona coatings and rebuild components using Belzona products
  • General spray painting duties
  • Dismantling and cleaning mechanical equipment
  • Assemble pumps and components
  • Operate electric and pneumatic hand tools
  • General housekeeping and equipment maintenance
  • Comply with and contribute to OHS policies
  • Train and direct contractors where needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a workshop environment
  • Abrasive blasting experience required
  • Forklift licence preferred
  • Physically strong and capable of manual handling
  • Strong focus on safety and quality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive
