Lab Attendant – Surface Based Role | Monday to Friday Roster


Calibre Resourcing Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Lab Attendant to join one of our valued clients in a surface-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a mining environment with full training provided on site.


About the Role:


As a Lab Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and testing samples to verify the quality of underground ground support. This is a practical, hands-on role and is well-suited to someone with good attention to detail and a solid work ethic.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing samples using drop saws and a stationary grinding machine (training provided)
  • Conducting simple tests by placing samples into a machine and recording the results
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Assisting general surface operations as required

What You’ll Need:

  • Surface induction (mandatory)
  • Driving on the lease is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and willingness to learn
  • Ability to pass or obtain a low-risk pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

Roster & Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Local applicants preferred – this is not a FIFO role
