Calibre Resourcing Solutions is seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our growing team as Business Operations & Engagement Officers based in Townsville and Mount Isa.
These are hands-on operational roles suited to candidates who understand the fast-paced nature of the labour hire, recruitment, mining, or workforce solutions industries — particularly those who have previously worked in similar coordination or operational support roles within North Queensland.
We are specifically looking for candidates with strong local knowledge, industry understanding, and the ability to build genuine working relationships across clients, candidates, and operational teams.

About the Role
This role sits at the centre of client engagement, workforce solutions, and operational growth across North Queensland. You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting workforce delivery across mining, civil, and industrial sectors.
We are looking for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of labour hire and recruitment and can confidently engage with clients while supporting operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across mining, civil, industrial, and labour hire sectors
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, networking, and relationship management activities
• Work closely with recruitment teams to deliver workforce solutions to clients
• Assist in growing existing accounts while actively pursuing new client opportunities
• Coordinate mobilisation, workforce planning, and client support activities
• Support tender submissions, reporting, and operational growth initiatives
• Contribute to the continued expansion of the business across North Queensland

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience within labour hire, recruitment, workforce coordination, account management, or mining support services
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Experience identifying new business opportunities and supporting business growth
• Understanding of mobilisation, compliance, and workforce solutions processes
• Mining industry exposure (hard rock and/or coal highly regarded)
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactive, driven, and commercially minded attitude
• Local knowledge and established ties to Townsville or Mount Isa highly regarded
